Privacy policy

This policy describes how Mortgage Guide handles information.

Calculator math runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to Mortgage Guide unless you use a feature that submits them. Saving inputs stores them in local storage on your device under a key that starts with mg:. You can clear that entry from the calculator or from your browser settings.

This site does not create accounts and does not store email addresses. Questions and corrections go to hello@mortgageguide.tools.

Cookie choice is stored in local storage. If you choose Allow, and a measurement ID is configured, the site can load Google Analytics 4. Events are things like “calculator started” or “CSV downloaded.” They are not designed to include the dollar amounts you typed.

Advertising stays off unless it is explicitly enabled. If you allow cookies and advertising is enabled, the site can load Google AdSense and a RevBid script supplied from your RevBid dashboard. Those companies can use cookies to show and measure ads. Their own policies describe that processing. Ads are not placed inside calculator controls.
